Featuring is the madly talented 2010 Capital Slam Team from Ottawa, winners of last year's Canadian Festival of Spoken Word (comin to Toronto Oct 11 to 15).
The team - consisting of 2011 Toronto International Poetry Slam Champion Prufrock, 2011 Canadian Individual Slam Champion OpenSecret, Chris Tse and John Akpata - successfully defended the 2010 CFSW title that Ottawa had also won the year before. Theirs is a unique brand of poetry, covering all scopes of life and varying from comedy to serious introspection.
Doors 7pm signup 730pm show 8pm. (Don't be late, we sell out every show and around 20 latecomers usually can't get in!)
