Prufrock wins another Toronto Poetry Slam

The well-travelled poet from Ottawa has another TPS notch on his belt: Prufrock took home another win, his second this season. He entered a tight contest against some spoken word vets, including Optimus Rhyme, Tomy Bewick, David Delisca, Iyah, and some young'uns nipping at adults heels, such as Gavin Russell and Creo.

The poems ranged from hilarious (thanks to Gav's Mario-Link poem, Pruf's douchebag piece) to heavy (Optimus divulging his relationship drama).

And we were also treated to the feature EYTAN CROUTON, who rocked our wool socks off with his classic raps, complete with beats. Good to have ya back, Crouts!

We want to thank everyone who has supported TPS in 2013, and we can't wait to show you what we got planned for 2014. Big things!

Our next slam is FRIDAY JAN 10 featuring Janice Lee. See you then!
